Hi, I am in the process of building up my store, but have a problem with my shipping settings.
I live in Republic of Ireland and I want to set up shipping delivery (Dropshipping) from US to US and the Rest of the World, I set up the rates (shipping and delivery - manage) and put my delivery charge, went to check on my store to see if was all set up, ones I am on my store I make sure is UNITED STATES on the bottom of the page and then go for the buy process button, it shows my address and has Ireland as only option.
Now, I have tried to change a few settings, my location as a fake address, but still no luck, also the rate has € instead of $ on the US rate
I can understand how this can be confusing. But I’ll try to help the best I can.
This could happen in case you have Shopify Markets. Shopify Market settings have a higher priority than your shipping zone settings. For example, let’s say that you have the USA with shipping rates available, but it is also an inactive market in your Market settings. Even though there are shipping rates available, customers can’t place an order because the USA is an inactive market.
If you have Markets enabled on your account, head to Settings > Markets to check if the USA has been enabled. To add countries, select Manage > Activate market. Then you should see additional countries within the dropdown options on your checkout page.
