How to show both the regular and sale price on collection page when running % discount (craft theme)

Hi there! Looks for help. We’re currently running a store-wide sale, 20% off all products. The discount is applied correctly at checkout. But we need to show the before/after (regular/sale prices) on both the:

The collection page: https://syrachacuse.com/collections/syrachacuse-gourmet-sauces
And product: https://syrachacuse.com/products/syracuse-style-hometown-hot-sauce

Currently, only the regular price is being shown on the collection page and product.

To show both regular and sale prices on your collection and product pages during a store-wide sale, you’ll need to adjust your Shopify theme’s Liquid templates. Here’s a general guide:

  1. Edit Collection Page Template:

    • Find the Liquid file responsible for your collection pages (like collection.liquid or collection-template.liquid).
    • Modify the code to display both product.price and product.compare_at_price. The compare_at_price is typically the original price before the discount.

  2. Edit Product Page Template:

    • Similarly, for the product pages, edit the corresponding Liquid file (like product.liquid or product-template.liquid).
    • Ensure that both product.price and product.compare_at_price are displayed.
