When clicking a product page, it automatically shows the first variant’s image instead of the featured image, which is not preferable as I want the audience to see the featured image.

The same issue happens to a featured product on the home page as well. I featured one of my products that has different colours. When landing on the home page, the product’s first selected variant’s image shows, not the featured image. The worst part is that it doesn’t even allow a carousel so that the audience can slide and see the featured image.

This is my store Perfect Shift . The featured product on the home page is ‘JDM Heart Ring Charm w/ Black Handle Strap | Tsurikawa’.

I have tried to implement the solutions provided in this community but none of them worked as they are all for older versions. I realised that once the theme is updated to 10.0.0, all codes changed.

Thanks for providing solutions, but I couldn’t find the code mentioned in step 4 and step 7.

In step4, my relevant code is like below:

And in step 7, I couldn’t find anything named ‘homepage’. In sections with similar names, the only similar code is like below, and it’s in section ‘featured_product.liquid’:

I haven’t started to customise other things yet, so these should be original code.

Is it possible to look into this based on the screenshots I provided?
