How to show savings on items with variations?

Topic summary

Main issue: Displaying per-variant discounts/savings (e.g., “Was $50 — You saved $X”) on products with variations.

  • Context: The seller offers clothing with color variants. Some colors sell slower seasonally, and they want to show markdowns only on those specific color variants.

  • Current limitation observed: On single-variant items, showing “Was $X” and savings is straightforward. For multi-variant listings, the seller cannot find an option to show discounts/savings tied to specific variants.

  • Clarification of terms: “Variations” refers to product variants (e.g., different colors of the same item). The desired display is a compare-at price and calculated savings per selected variant.

  • Status: No solutions or settings were provided in the posts. The request remains unanswered and the issue is unresolved/ongoing.

Hi, on items with no variation you can usually do “Was $50” and show how much the customer saves

How do you do this with listing with variations? I do not see options to show discounts.

I sell some cloth that comes in different colors and some seasons certain colours do not go fast and I want to have those “Was X - You saved Y” on some variations only and cannot seem to find the option
