How to show the total quantity of products at the homepage

Hello guys, I have a question regarding the total product quantity in my Shop.

I can find the number here: /admin/products/count.json

But i would like to display this number at my homepage (maybe as a counter), because the shop will grow up next time and the users should be informated about the actual total product quantity. I would place this counter at my homepage.

Hey the shop is not online, yet.

I would like to show the total number of products at the top of my homepage.

For example:
I have totally added 135 products in my shop i would like to display this number (135) as a counter on my homepage. If i add a product in the future the counter should automatically count up to the actual number of products in the shop.

Feel free to ask for donation if you can deliver a solution for this problem.
