The file I got from Etsy that will not transfer I have read through all of the threads I could find any that really helped. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get this file to work I have a large shop and don’t have the time or knowledge to fix the CSV anyone who might have some tips or just willing to help will be much apricated.
Hi
The main thing to check is that your columns are set up exactly as per the Shopify format: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/import-export/using-csv#product-csv-file-format
If they are not then the file will fail to import.

Hi, @Eurogolds !
Welcome to Shopify Community.
@BundleSync , is absolutely right in that your CSV file template must match Shopify’s, otherwise our system will be unable to read it. At a quick glance, we can see that your file does not match our template as such:
Your file
| Handle | title | Body (HTML) | price | currency_code | all_tags | image_url1 | … |
|---|
Shopify’s CSV template
| Handle | Title | Body (HTML) | Vendor | Standardized Product Type | Custom Product Type | Tags | Published | Option1 Name … |
|---|
Based on that reference, Shopify is unable to read your products after the third column. With that being said, you just have to make a few tweaks to match our template and you can easily import your products.
Note:
To speed up migration from another platform to Shopify, check out the Store Importer app to automatically import your store data.
I also want to recommend bookmarking our helpful guide on Migrating from Etsy to answer any questions that come up as you move other elements of your store.
Please let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.
Warm regards,
