How to sort by best-sellers but show new products at the top?

Hi, I am new to Shopify and stumbled upon an issue.
I want to push up new products that I want to be seen first. The thing is that if I sort by best-sellers, the new products are staying at the bottom.
Is there a way to sort my collections by best sellers while also showing new products at the top?
Am I missing something?

  • To combine this “New Arrivals” collection with their best-sellers, they can create a manual collection and then add both “New Arrivals” and the original Best-Sellers collection as sections on a custom page.
  • This way, the new products are always displayed at the top (under the “New Arrivals” section), followed by the best-sellers.
