How to stop products showing as "sale" when I change the price?

I manually changed the pricing on a collection of products that each has 3 variants. Now the products are displaying with a “sale” badge and the original price with a strikethrough next to the new price - how can I stop this happening?

Go to your Shopify admin panel, select the product you’re working with, and under the Variants section, make sure the Compare at price is either removed or set to match the new price. If the “compare at price” is higher than the actual price, Shopify will continue to display it as a sale, which is why the badge and strikethrough show up.

If you’re working with a large number of products, you can speed up the process by using the bulk editor. This allows you to edit the price and compare at price for multiple products at once. Simply select the products in your Shopify admin, click “Edit products,” and add the “Price” and “Compare at price” columns. From there, you can either remove or match the “Compare at price” to the current price across all selected products
