How to store extra information captured in customer account creation

When a customer creates an account, I have added 2 new fields to the form. I have added a gender input and a birthday input.

Currently, this information is not stored - you just have the ability to add information into the field.

How can I then store this information in Shopify?

You should look into storing this data in a customer metafield definition, then the data will be properly stored.
