How to Submit a blog / article post from the front end?

I would like to know if it’s possible to submit a blog post from the front end? Scenario would be:

  1. A visitor (customer) clicks on “Some link”.

  2. The visitors (customer) goes on another page where he creates a blog post (potentially he would need to be logged in) - Ideally there would be a title field, a content field and an author field. The blog post submitted would be hidden.

  3. As an admin, I can switch the blog post to visible. Is it possible to do something like this on shopify?

Thanks for the reply. Not an issue, am just asking how to allow my customer to submit their article through frond end site.

Great question! The short answer is: that this is not available natively within Shopify.

It’s a great idea, but Shopify is tailored toward e-Commerce, meaning that it does not offer the bespoke functionality for User Generated Content of that kind.

We do have a great blog post about User Generated Content that offers some alternative ideas. For example: why not run a competition for blog entries in return for discounts/gifts?

That same blog post mentions apps like Gleam and Typeform that “let users upload their content and information” - they may therefore be useful to you!
