I have found a solution under this topic: How To Sync Drop Down Colors With Variant Photos on this board from 2020. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for 2.0 templates. I am wanting to have the dropdown variant change to correspond when a variant picture is change. For example, when red picture is clicked, I want the dropdown to reflect red, not the one previously selected (or the default) in the dropdown. Can anyone help with the code for this? Thx

This is a complex request and there are no detailed instructions for OS2.0 yet.

Thanks, I will do that. I’m curious, though. The solution for 1.0 is very straightforward. Why is the 2.0 solution complex? Thx.

It’s not a more complicated requirement than OS1.0, just because it involves a lot of steps and therefore Shopify has not yet created a detailed instruction file. And because it takes a lot of steps, most experts will charge for it, so very few people want to create a free manual for this, as it takes a lot of their time.
