How to sync multi-country warehouse stock with a UK-based website?

Hi there…hope someone can help, please?

We have a UK based website (.com) and a UK warehouse.

We have recently opened a US warehouse and have stock there, and we have set up a US shopify site.

We have alot of orders coming from one specific platform which is linked to our UK website and about 50% of them are from US. We do not want to link this platform to our US site for various reasons.

So, ideally I want to sync the stock from my US warehouse/shopify into my UK website and then push orders to the warehouse which has stock and is nearest to the customer - ie. if the US warehouse has 5 instock and the UK warehouse 5, then if the order comes from US, it sends the order to the US warehouse/shopify site, and if the order comes from the UK, it sends it to the UK warehouse/shopify.

Anyone got a solution?

Cheers

Looking now - thanks - will post when i have looked over it. :slightly_smiling_face:

Looks as though this is the solution Thanks…bit of an issue setting it all up but should be able to resolve soon. Cheers

Any solution?

So far 2-3 solutions..

  1. Oder Management Guru - app. Sets up multiple Shopify accounts per warehouse (children) and consolidates the stock into main site (mother). Orders get directed to the nearest warehouse with stock. Takes a bit of setting up but works.

  2. Oder Desk - we have been told this does the same thing but easier - we are looking into that now.

  3. Shopify Markets - new Shopify 2.0 has certain new features which COULD do this, I read! Again evaluating it.
