Hi,
this is my first post here, so please let me know if I did something wrong..
I have a specific reporting Question:
Not all of my products are “active” at any time. Some products are out of stock for some days/weeks.
Now I would like to analyse which products sell best “when they were online”.(FYI: I use 3rd party fulfillment, so sometimes I do not directly see when a product is back in stock, so tracking this manually won’t work)
When i just report the “quantity” sold over time, it is not regarded that some products where out of stock. Example product X:
Over a perior of 100 days, Product “X” was active for 10 days and was sold 50 times.
= 0,5/day of the 100 day period, BUT
= 5/day on the days it was active.
so it performed pretty well.
Example product Y:
Over a perior of 100 days, Product “Y” was active for all 100 days and was sold 75 times.
=0,75/day
At first glance for the full 100days product “Y” looks better than “X” (0,75/day > 0,5/day) BUT when we taken into account that X was only online for 10 days, X performed much better (5/day > 0,75/day)
So is there any way to find out “how many days” a product was active during a given time period? i.e. how many products where sold while it was active?
