How to track buy button orders individually (distinguish between buy button source)

Hi there,

I have installed several buy buttons on external websites and I want to track these orders.

Is there any way to distinguish the buy button orders into individual buy buttons?

For example by adding a variable to the script like:

  • Order prefix

  • tag

  • buy button ID

Please help me out :slightly_smiling_face:

I have this same question. We are using ‘shopify buttons’ on multiple external websites, and really need some guidance on how to distinguish from which websites purchases are occuring. This original post is 4 months old, did you ever find a solution?
