How to track emails that end up in recipient junk/spam folder

Hello, I know it’s possible to track which emails were open and clicked, but is there a way to track which emails end up in my recipients’ junk/spam folders? Thank you.

Hi! This has to do with tracking your deliverability. If you want to get more detailed than measuring your deliverability rates and bounce rates, you may consider working with Google Postmaster tools. Though they are really only for users who use Gmail, it will give you a good sense of how your emails are appearing on a very popular email client.

Thank you, I’ll check it out!

Hi @reginem

Unfortunately, there’s no direct way to track if an email lands in a recipient’s spam folder, email providers don’t send that data back. However, you can improve deliverability by checking your domain’s SPF, DKIM, and DMARC settings to ensure they’re properly configured. And track the open rate: a sudden downturn could indicate that spam filtering is an issue.

Using a tool like GlockApps or MailGenius can help test where your emails are landing before sending them to customers
