How to track inventory for different balloon arrangements?

Hi there - looking for advice on best practice for a balloon website, selling pre-inflated arrangements of multiple balloons. For example, if I have a “Spaceman” arrangement with:

5 balloons variant, made up of:

1x spaceman balloon
2x star balloons

2x space happy birthday balloons

3 balloons variant, made up of
1x spaceman balloon

1x star balloon

1x space happy birthday balloon

1 balloon variant, made up of just the 1x spaceman balloon

How can I have this as ONE product on the front end, with the variants, but track the inventory of the balloons that make up each variant?

I thought it was with bundles but can’t seem to find the right solution to sell a bundle as a variant and keep track of the inventory.

Any help really appreciated.

It seems, your requirement is too specific to be covered by a ready-made Shopify app. But you can consider a bundling app like Bundleup. It will help you create and categorize bundled products, as well as provide accurate inventory syncing and stock levels calculation.
