How to transition order fulfillment and local pick up to a new location?

Hi

We have 2 brick and mortar locations of our retail storefront. Currently all inventory,shipping and local pick up are at Location A in Shopify. (Physical inventory, and shipping is actually done out of Location B. When added the new location we kept everything at Location A, knowing that it would close.)

Location A will be closing down at the end of the year, so we want to transition our local pick ups to Location B now.

Questions:

  1. We want to fulfill orders from Location A ,but have pick up at Location B. How can we do that easily ?

Should we “close” Location A from a Shopify standpoint now?

Should we transfer all inventory to Location B and fufill orders from there in Shopify? So inventory, shipping and local pick up will all be at one location.
