How to translate a section id from inspector to a section json or other in the code

I am trying to edit my product landing page. I want it to display my images in a different order than I uploaded them to my product catalog. I know that rearranging them in the product catalog would solve this, but I need to keep the ordering in my product catalog the way it is. I am using the inspector to try and figure out which template/section to edit, but I run into problems. I see many references to "main-product-template–“THIS IS WHERE IT INSERTS A SECTION ID”.

  1. Is there any way for me to go to the code and find the specific section.id that it is displaying. See the attached image for an example. Where does shopify get these section.ids?

  2. Does anyone know how to show the second image in my product catalog in the first position in the landing page? I would also like to have the option to eliminate a few pictures from showing in the future.
