I get this message from Facebook almost once an hour. I have no interest in connecting WhatsApp to Shopify. How do I stop Facebook from nagging me about this topic?

Those notifications are usually coming from the Meta (Facebook & Instagram) sales channel in Shopify or from your Meta Business account, not from Shopify itself.
If you don’t plan to use WhatsApp with your store, try the following:
- Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and Sales Channels and check whether the Facebook & Instagram by Meta sales channel is installed.
- If you’re not using it, remove the sales channel.
- If you are using Facebook/Instagram but not WhatsApp, open your Meta Business Suite and review notification settings related to WhatsApp integrations and marketing recommendations.
- Also check your email notification preferences in your Meta account, as these prompts are often sent directly by Meta rather than Shopify.
go into your Meta Business Suite > Settings > Business Notifications and turn off the WhatsApp-related ones from there. the notifications are coming from meta’s side, not shopify, so disabling them in shopify settings won’t help.
if that doesn’t stop them, check if you have the Facebook & Instagram sales channel installed in shopify. even if you’re not actively using it, having the channel connected gives meta the ability to push these notifications. you can disconnect it temporarily, clear the notification queue, then reconnect if you actually need it for product sync.

Look like Facebook promotional notification rather than a Shopify one. Try reviewing your Facebook and meta business suite notification preferences and disablr marketing suggestion.
