Recently I canceled and completely closed my testing Shopify, but I want to use my domain name somewhere else, I still paid and have time till next Year March, but I’m just wondering where and how can I take this domain and have access to it because every time I want to have access to my domain it ask me to re-open my Shopify again and I don’t want to re-open it again so what are other ways to get over and control my domain name. please
Hi @Electrousa You can simply reopen your store, go to the Domains section in Shopify, and transfer the domain to your GoDaddy account. Once the transfer is complete, you can close the store again. This way, you’ll be able to access your domain through GoDaddy without needing to reopen the Shopify store.

One more thing to ask is, after reaching out to my Domain sitting in my
Shopify account, is there any possibility to re-name my domain name as
well, or the only activity after getting to that point is, transfering
somewhere else?

Hello @Electrousa No, you cannot rename the domain name. To create a new name, you have to buy a new domain
