Use an app such as AfterSell to add an adding note field called PO number

Would the suggested solution not leave you with two PO number fields at checkout?
I do not know of any way to hide the out of the box B2B PO number checkout field - If you do, then please share it.

Thanks you for the replay - but this will only work for you own fields (or at lease not for the OOB B2B field PO Number)
