HS code not showing up in my product page

Hello,

When I search for guides on how to update the HS code and shipping weight for each product, it says that it will appear on the bottom of my product page. However, I don’t see them on my product pages. When I try to bulk edit all my products, they will appear in my columns, however the automatic drop down option for entering HS codes doesn’t work in the bulk edit view. Can anyone advise? Thank you!

Thanks for posting!

If you have more than one variant of a product, the shipping information is located within that variant, instead of on the primary product page.

To adjust this, you will need to select all the variants in bulk, (as you mentioned) or you can edit them individually by selecting ‘edit’ next to the variant in question. You will then see all the shipping and customs information including the weight and HS code.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products.

  2. Click the name of the product that has the variant that you want to edit.

  3. In the Variants section of the product details page, click Edit beside the name of the variant that you want to edit.

  4. Change the variant details.

  5. Optional: You can apply the same weight to all product variants by checking the Apply weight to all variants for [your product].

  6. Click Save.
