I am integrating the shopify button into my own website, and i would like to essentially send a POST-request to my own server whenever an order is placed.
I know you can already set up email-alerts when an order is placed, all i want is to make a HTTP-request instead. Is this possibel
If you can’t use webhooks, use shopifys free shopify-flow automation app, or another automation app like usemechanic app to send http-request’s
Shopify-flows main drawback is you can’t send info BACK to it, it can’t receive external data/requests.
So if you need a bi-directional process you’ll need a third party app like above.
