Hi, I used to be able to navigate in the back end of Shopify using the page up / page down / home / end keys, along with being able to tap the spacebar to scroll down on a page.
This is pretty universal functionality across any window in an operating system, I thought, but it has recently been disabled from the back end of Shopify. Not even usage of the arrow keys works anymore to navigate up and down the page!
This is a huge accessibility issue for people like myself who are partially disabled and work with long term chronic inflammation. I depend upon the use of keyboard shortcuts over hand tapping and mouse usage.
Is this not a violation of basic accessibility standards of the web? Basics of best practices even?
The disabling of the keyboard navigation functionality has made my workflow incredibly physically painful. The forced usage of a mouse/hand tapping greatly inflames my condition and reduces my capacity to work.
I have no clue why one would remove these accessibility functions, but please whatever shopify angels are seeing this, return the keyboard functionality to shopify back end navigation posthaste before you wind up with a lawsuit. Thank you so much.
