Huge tag icon in Cart popup when discount applied

Has anyone seen this weird issue?

I have a “Spend £500, get 5% off” discount set up in the Discounts section of Shopify.

When someone adds an item to their cart, the typical cart popup box appears. If they have spent enough to qualify, the box shows a big UGLY black tag, below which it states the discount (See Fig 1).
This happens on desktop and mobile.

The big tag will show if you open the View Cart popup box from any page (homepage, collection page, product page, etc) - but NOT if you open the Cart popup from the Your Cart page (see Fig 2), where it displays normal size. It also displays normal size tag on the Your Cart page itself (Fig3).

This goes away if I disable the discount.

Looks like relevant CSS is only loaded on the cart page.
You can fix the giant label problem by adding this to the “Theme settings”=> “Custom CSS”

.discounts__discount svg {
  width: 1ch;
}
