This looks like an issue where Shopify’s not detecting the correct encoding for characters that aren’t simple letters. If you have Excel, can you try opening up the CSV file? If the emojis display correctly in the CSV file, save it again, but choose “CSV UTF-8” as the file format, not “Comma separated values”:
This should save the CSV file in a format that allows Shopify to parse the emojis correctly. (If you’re using a spreadsheet program other than Excel, see if there’s a similar option for saving CSVs with “UTF-8”).
If that still doesn’t work, would you mind sharing a sample of your file to take a look at?
