Hello,
I am currently experimenting with features using Erply’s webshop integration connecting to shopify.
Currently I have difficulty syncing product images in the method of using a .csv file.
I have created 2 sample products to test with and have no issue with products in Erply to show their respective images. I used the “Product Images Import” link from the top menu under “PIM->+Add/Import->Product Images Import”. From there I have imported with my .csv file, matching with product code and the correct delimiter, and the source of image is pulled from my dropbox and have the adjusted the sharing links accordingly. All of that I have no issues with and successfully uploaded pictures. I have also successfully imported as CDN images and API images (legacy).
My issue is syncing my product images with shopify, after I clicked on “Start product catalogue export”, it was able to sync the products into Shopify, their SKU matches the Erply’s product code. However, it did not sync the images to Shopify, therefore the products in the webstore have no pictures. I have tried to directly brute force by uploading a product image in the “product pictures” tab instead of using the .csv file. To my surprise, after syncing with the shopify webstore, it was able to show the images. However, what I am trying to do is mass upload images with a .csv file as I want to avoid having to upload pictures per product one by one, which can be a tedious process.
I am currently stuck on this, is there something I am missing or is the only way for me for sync product images from Erply to Shopify through direct upload? Attached pictures are placeholder images I used to show as reference, images purely shown are by uploading directly into the “product pictures” tab.
