hello,
I bought a GoDaddy domain and i want to connect it to my shopify store, when i try to connect it, shopify says its already connected to another store.
ive looked around in the discussion and i saw that this can only be solved by a shopify staff.
the domain name i bought: secret-elegance.com
the shopify store :secretelegance.myshopify.com

Are you specifically encountering the error message “A site with that domain already exists” while attempting to connect your domain? If so, that means your domain is currently connected to a different Shopify store. This typically happens when a domain used to be owned by somebody else, and they previously connected it to their own admin. Once a domain expires and the ownership isn’t renewed, it can be purchased by anyone even if it’s still connected to a store.
