I built a simple tool to stop wasting ad money on out-of-stock items. Looking for feedback

Topic summary

A developer created an automation tool that connects to e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) and automatically pauses Google and Facebook ad campaigns when product inventory reaches zero. This addresses the common problem of wasting ad spend on out-of-stock items.

Key Details:

  • The tool eliminates manual campaign pausing and prevents missed updates (especially on weekends)
  • Currently seeking 10-15 beta testers to validate the solution

Beta Program Offer:

  • Completely free access for participants
  • In exchange, testers provide honest feedback on functionality, missing features, and overall usefulness
  • Interested users can comment “interested” below to receive details via DM

The creator emphasizes this is a genuine request for feedback from a builder, not a sales pitch or free trial funnel.

Hey everyone,

Like a lot of e-commerce/marketing folks, I’ve always been frustrated by one of the dumbest problems: burning ad money on products that just went out of stock.

I was sick of manually pausing campaigns every morning (and still missing things on weekends), so I built a tool for myself.

It’s pretty simple: it just connects to your store (Shopify, Woo, etc.) and automatically pauses your Google & Facebook ad campaigns the instant an item’s inventory hits zero.

It’s been working really well for me, and I’m curious if this is a “real” problem for other people, too.

I’m looking for 10-15 people to test it out as a beta user.

The deal is simple: You get to use it completely free. In return, I’d just ask for your honest feedback on what’s broken, what’s missing, and whether it’s actually useful.

If you’re running ads and want to give it a spin, just comment “interested” below and I’ll send you a DM with the details.

(P.S. This isn’t a “free trial” trick or a sales pitch. Just a builder looking to see if this thing I made can help others.)

Yes @FaresGM !

Thanks for sharing! This is definitely a real problem that causes a lot of wasted ad spend. It is great to see a dedicated solution for this! Manual checks might work for a few products, but as soon as a catalog scales, it becomes impossible to manage without automation. Good luck with the beta testing!
