I cannot add a customized menu to my footer

Hi there,

I’ve got an issue with adding a customized menu to my footer. The AI help too doesn’t give me the sollution, neither do youtobe tutorials.

Here’s what I did:

  • Ive got the Dawn theme.
  • I have made a new menu called ‘footer’ in the content menu → menu’s. I added pages to it.
    Note: there were no menu’s here before I added the footer menu.
  • I can’t see a navigation menu in the webshop settings. I only see there the following options: theme’s, pages and preferences.
  • When I go to the theme customization page I see three sections: header, template, footer.
  • In the footer options I want to add a section but the only two options I get are:
    custom liquid
    subscripe to email option

I do not get the option to add a menu here. Why is that? Can anyone help me please?

Welcome to the community.

You should try to add a Menu block from the Footer section, inside a Footer group.
You clicked on Add section, but you should have clicked on Add block under Footer.

At first I tried it this way but it did not show. Afther logging in and out it finally worked.
