I cannot buy through Shopify anymore from Albania

Hello,

I am from Albania and I have been trying recently to buy from different shops that I used to buy from before that were still using Shopify. When the currency gets automatically converted to Albanian Lek, the Shopify checkout does not show PayPal option anymore and does not accept my card or other cards of my friends that are perfectly fine and that I use with or without PayPal in other shops. I understand that the owners of the shops need to turn off automatic conversion for the payment to go through, but I, as a client cannot request that from the different shops. Can somebody from the Shopify Team help please?

While I’d love to help here, for security and privacy reasons, we cannot confirm or deny if the store is using our platform. That said, you will have to contact store directly to express your concerns. I am confident any business would promptly look into any checkout issue report on their store.

Please check if the store website has a contact form or an email address you can reach out to. Otherwise, you can try to find them on social media and reach out there.
