Hey, @Dejana . Thanks for joining this thread.
Can you let me know if you’ve gone through the local troubleshooting steps I shared in my previous reply on this thread, to see if that changes anything on your end?
If you have, but are still running into the same error message, you can go through the points below to check that your card meets the following requirements:
- Must be a debit card or a post paid credit card (pre-paid credit cards are not supported, but may work)
- Must be co-branded with Visa, Mastercard, or Amex
- Must be capable of accepting charges in your store’s billing currency
- Must be capable of making online purchases
- Must be capable of accepting recurring billing
- Must have appropriate funds available
- Must enter billing address and details the same as what your bank has on file
- Must not have a restriction on how much the bank will allow to be processed at once
Please also note that credit cards are usually pre-enabled for international transactions in USD, but debit card and hybrid debit/credit cards usually need to have this feature enabled by your provider. So if your store is billed in USD and you aren’t based in the US or aren’t sure if your card accepts recurring international payments in USD, you can reach out to your card issuer to clarify and confirm.
More information on this can be found in our help guide here, and in our Billing FAQ here.
Let me know how you get on.
