I can't cancel my shopify billing

Hello . I tried using shopify some months ago and I was paying it with my PayPal account . After a mounth or so i decided to stop the shop. I didn’t know how to cancel my shop , so I tought that if I delete shopify billing from PayPal it will automaticaly stops when it will be next billing time . The problem is thai it didn’t stop and now I have a unpaid 36$ or so Bill. I searched on youtube how to cancel shopify , but it won’t work because of the unpaid Bill. I wasn’t using the website , so it is not fair for me to pay for it just because you make it hard to close the shop. So please, close my shop associated with this email.Thanks and I hope you can understand .Ps: i have no money in my account , i am poor , i just wanted to try the 1 dollar month

Hi i have the same problem according to this and i dont think its fair for me to pay a huge amoknt of money i dont have and i already live in a world of loans so pelase close my store and i changed my mind to that i wanted not to open a store and tried to deactivate my account but didnt work so cancel my store to and give me a email associated with this account asap

I recommend checking out this help document for considerations to keep in mind, and you can then follow these steps to close the account:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.
  2. Click Deactivate store.
  3. Review the options, then click Deactivate store.
  4. Select a reason for the deactivation.
  5. Optional: If available, then add a comment to explain further.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter your password, and then click Deactivate store.

You will then receive an email to confirm that the store has been deactivated. Your store’s information is guaranteed for 2 years, so if you would like to reactivate it in the future, you can pick up where you left off!

What kind of an app is this? I opened my account for testing and it keeps trying to deduct $38 from the registered card. Please stop this nonsense. I can’t cancel my account because I haven’t made a payment. Please close the account, store, or anything with this email address!!!

I have the same issue, but can’t contact a real person. I just keep going in a loop with the AI bot, which doesn’t take me to anyone real. Like an idiot, I signed up for the annual payment method when exploring the trial, but I haven’t used it, and decided I don’t want it. That means I now owe over $500 but I’ve done nothing with the account and don’t want to. I don’t believe I should have to pay this when I’ve made no money on the site and haven’t even built it yet. But because of the unpaid bill, I can’t go into the account and cancel it. I would have canceled earlier during the trial but life got ahead of me and I forgot. My close friend died and other business has been going down the tubes. I hate subscriptions. HELP PLEASE!
