I want to sell custom made trousers/pants on my page.
On the product page for my trousers, I created the colors, and fabric type already. But I need to provide 3 fields for my customers to enter their measurements (length, waist, hips). Either they should type their measurements or ideally they should choose from a drop down menu to choose what cm their entry is.
I couldn’t figure this out.
Under the variants, it gives me an option for sizing where I can type small, medium, large etc. But I need my customers to provide me their measurements. Is there anyway I can add these fields before they go to their cart?

You need to add it to your product template. Below are the steps
- Go to Online Store → Edit code.
- Open the product template and paste the code above.

I found the code and found the product template and pasted it.
it didnt like it.
Is there any particular place i can paste this code to?
Ideally it should be after the color choices and before the “add to the
cart” button.
I think i need one more step, because i am not good at coding.

Can you let me know what theme you’re using?
Please check the below screenshots for your reference.
You can directly type in the search box ‘product’ and then in the Sections folder you can find the product template I was referring to. Look for product-template.liquid if you are using a basic theme. Depending on the theme you used, sometimes the name is main-product.liquid or static-product.liquid. When pasting the code, look for the add to cart button code as per my screenshot above.
