My company was in London, I applied to shopify payments with that company before and it was cancelled. Later, I use shopify payments in a different account with my American company and I say that I want to use it in this account too, but I have connected to live support many times, everyone keeps me waiting and no one can support me. That’s why I will move the shopify infrastructure.51545465 ticket
Topic summary
Issue: A merchant cannot enable Shopify Payments on their current account. They previously applied with a London-based company and that setup was cancelled. They now use Shopify Payments successfully on a different account with their U.S. company and want it activated on this account as well. Ticket: 51545465.
Support status: The merchant reports multiple live support contacts with long waits and no resolution, leading them to consider leaving the Shopify platform.
Suggestion offered: Another participant recommended using Stripe (if available) and shared an article about enabling Klarna on Shopify via Stripe as a potential workaround.
Response to suggestion: The original poster reacted dismissively/jokingly, implying the suggestion was not helpful.
Outcome: No confirmed fix or decision from Shopify. The issue remains unresolved, with the key question—how to re-enable Shopify Payments on the current account—still open.
