I’ve added a software called Heatmap to see visitors in real time. The issue is the software can’t record visitor’s screen. It’s al grey.
Software developer says:
"During the session playback Heatmaptracker loads the actual Shopify page inside of an iframe. I believe Shopify does not allow that by default. But you can ask their support team to allow your Heatmaptracker domain/url to load the Shopify page in an iframe.
They may have to add a X-Frame-Options header (or something similar). But they will know how to do it. "

If you are looking to request changes to security protocols on a store for i Frame handling this needs to be handled with a direct interaction to our Technical Merchant Support teams from a verified account. You can reach out to support@shopify.com or with a conversation directly with our support teams.
Actually that was the first step I approached by contacting Shopify support. An agent told me they don’t handle this type of requests and suggested to open a topic here. I’m in a loop. Can you please help with this or talking to the right department? Thanks
It’s unfortunate this was directed to the forums but in this case if you want to request I-frame unblocking for a store the request needs to be made by the registered Account Owner for the store to our Technical Merchant support team as an escalated ticket internally.
Hi @miber its the same process as before. Contact our regular support team but advise you need Technical Merchant Support to enable i-frame access for the specific store. It should be escalated to them from our frontline support team internally after this.
