I got this message while setting up my shopify account

Your Shopify Payments information couldn’t be verified
While signing up for Shopify Payments, the information you provided didn’t pass the verification process. For more information, you’ll need to contact support.

I got this email a few days after I created my Shopify account. I contacted Shopify support but still have not received a response for my ticket it’s been a few weeks.

Please help me I’m new on Shopify.

While you wait for a response, you can have a look into some of the requirements for using Shopify Payments here to see if you meet all eligibility criteria.

Some important ones to highlight here is the list of countries where Shopify Payments is available and that if you’re setting one of those countries as the location of your business, you must be able to provide evidence of a physical/business presence there. Failure to provide this information upon request may result in the gateway being revoked from your store - which is very inconvenient for you and your customers as that would mean they are unable to check out.

If you do not meet the eligibility criteria for Shopify Payments, you can have a look through the many other options available in your region by checking out our Payment Gateways page here, and selecting your country from the list.

When it comes to set up of third party gateways (any gateway other than Shopify Payments), the steps include first creating your account with the gateway on their website, then following these steps here to set it up on your store.
