hey, im a 19 year old student trying to make money online (because im not making much money)… but someone on tiktok texted me something to get into dropshipping… now im here with a store that is getting no sales or anything… im just crying because i dont know anything of what i have to do or what i need to do, i just need some help to get in this stuff because I just feel so stupid to fall for this scam… anyone with similar experience?
Just wanted to understand something. So someone from titok texted you about drop shipping and you did no research on what it is or how it works? Can you explain how you got scammed though? i’m honestly confused.

Welcome to the community, but sorry to hear you got scammed.
But I hope you learned a lesson or two.
- Do not trust someone texting you something. I mean, there are so many scams so you need to take it slow and do some proper research. Research the person you plan to give money to. Address, location, website, reviews.
- There is no easy money; there is just hard work.
- Dropshipping in core is not a scam, but now it is so hard to make any sales even if you do it all by the book. There are so many stores with the same products that you cannot break through. Even if you have some cool niche, a lot of social connections, and a lot of money to burn to be profitable is tough.
- Learn the value of work. That guy charged you 300 euros, and he delivered the store. Now, depending of result, that could be a good deal, but most likely it is not. Custom theme AI-generated, a lot of apps to set your products in 15 min, even with custom titles and descriptions.
- Learn when to stop and do not go deeper into the hole. A store can be a bottomless pit if you just throw money to fix one issue after another. Or listen to self-proclaimed experts. For example, if someone offers you guaranteed 40K a week in sales and asks for 500 EUR for all work, would you accept?
Maybe all this sounds harsh, but you jumped into the unknown, and now you do not know what to do. It is an absolutely expected result if you were not prepared and did not do any research.

Many new stores do go through this, so don’t think you’re the only one. Many are fine-tuned and adjusted over a period of time before they take hold. Review your product demand, prices, target market, store trust factors, and marketing strategy. Focus on learning the basics rather than chasing the most recent social advice for quick wins. Scale yourselves back, test out diferent strategies, and respond to your customers. Drops hipping can be done, but it takes research, endurance and continuing labor.
