Designs are nice, but potential customers need to trust you’re not fraud.

Hi @Jenny8 ,

We appreciate your inquiry in the Shopify Community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.

Congrats on your new store! Especially, there is a vibe of cool and strong personality delivered through your website. However, I have some comments to boost conversion rates Here are some of my recommendations, please kindly check.

1. Complete Homepage layout & information

As a customer, I would say that your Homepage hasn’t offered enough and decent information for me to build trust then to purchase. Therefore, I suggest the flow of your Homepage would be:

  • Hero banner (the most attractive image to reflect your brand & your product)
  • Best sellers (with the preview of purchases and ratings quantity)
  • Value Proposition (to differentiate your business)
  • Testimonials (this is very crucial to build trust in customers)
  • Final CTA button.

2. Refine the web design

The web design conveys lots of your professionalism, which would impact customers’ trust for purchase. Therefore, I highly recommend you refine the text font (others fit your brand instead of the default Arial) and add transition to displayed information.

3. Introduce about your brand

In your “About us” page, you could try to share more of your brand’s history, mission, and values. This allows interested customers to connect more with your brand, feel bigger trust with your mission.

4. Add CTA link for banner

I see you put the banner “Welcome to our store” at the top of the website that shows the very first touchpoint with newcomers. But for sales boost, you can leverage it to redirect the link of product page/discounts/purchase, etc.

It could be more incentivizing if you add a timing countdown (20 hours:30 minutes left…). Also, leverage Social Proof and Scarcity by displaying low-stock alerts (e.g., “Only 3 left in stock!”) to create urgency and highlighting recent purchases (e.g., “X people bought this in the last hour”) to encourage action.

5. Add more illustrative images on Product page

As a fashion customer, I always wonder how these pieces will look on me. Only the product images could not show customers that. Thus, try to include more illustrations of models wearing your products on all Product pages.

6. Add Live chat widget

As you just start your business, it’s crucial to nurture each visitor/user to become your loyal customer. How about having a powerful live chat to assist potential customers instantly, addressing their questions or concerns in real time? This can help prevent abandonment and encourage purchases.

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a FREE Live Chat, WhatsApp & FAQ App. You can easily reach customer support via WhatsApp, ensuring immediate assistance for inquiries. Also, the widget provide multi self-Service options such as Order tracking, Translation and FAQ section empower customers to resolve common questions on their own, reducing the need for direct support.

So those are some of my suggestions for your store as an UX expert. If this is helpful for you, please let me know by giving me a ‘LIKE’. If your question is answered please mark this as 'SOLUTION’.

Once again, keep up the fantastic work, and I wish you the best of luck in the future!

Hello @Jenny8

I can share you some feedback after checking the website, please kindly check and see if you can get some ideas from them:

  1. Instead of using Welcome to our store, you can place store activities or what you sell in the announcement bar on top of homepage, which makes user know better your store information quickly.

  1. You can add a refund policy on the bottom of store page, which makes user feel more professional and better know policies.

  1. The color of product images seems not be compatible with theme color properly. I have checked out the color of theme refers to #f0f0e7 and the color of product images refer to #f0f2e9. By changing the product image color into #f0f0e7 and it will make your images display more naturally and pleasantly.
