I received an email notifying me about acquiring a trademark license. They sent me a link and asked me to provide my store url and Ticket ID. I clicked link btw which is something I shouldn’t have done, it lead me to a what’s app chat and then I discussed with the person claiming to be a shopify partner he gave me a list of plan I then would have to pay (he wanted me to transfer him money), there is got a bit suspicious. So then I looked at his email and remembered shopify DOES NOT CONTACT YOU THROUG @GMAIL. And also they would not ask you to transfer them money. Beware of these key points. Check for emails that look like (greg.shopifycomplianceteam@gmail.com) it is way to long.

Hello there @Easiefits Thankfully, you were able to detect the scam before damage was done. Always remember the point about Shopify not contacting anybody with mails with “Gmail” in the name of the account. Also, make sure to never click on such links again as some are even more directly malicious than others. Stay safe and make sure to submit reports to the Shopify team as often as you can.
Yes my friend I am very lucky and I will make sure to take extra precautions next time, should everyone.
Have you found the answers yet since I am having the same issue, so I am curious as well
