Hi everyone,

i need a little help i have been searching from a week but couldn’t find any solution.

I need an image gallery on product page but in description section under the main product section so when i add a product the large images in description section automatically shows up in image gallery style. please check it out the attached image so you can easily understand. your help will be appreciated. thank you

Hi @ithinkdifferent From the screenshot that you have attached, I think you are using shopify’s default theme i.e. dawn theme, I have looked into the dawn theme and there is 3 option that may solve this issue for you.

  1. You can use multicolumn, and add the images in the multicolumn, just remove the text, also select Number of columns on desktop to 3 or 4, also you may need some custom code for mobile as in mobile for default the column will be 2.
  2. You may use multimedia collage. This is not the exact solution that you may need but it can solve some of your problem.
  3. The 3rd option will be by custom coding, as if you need the exact solution then you need to write the custom code so that you can achieve the same.

If you will unable to implement the same then I’m happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the code changes so that this will work well for you.

that’s exactly what i am trying to say. i have searched for many apps but some are not working and the rest are expensive. if you could help me creating an html/css i would appreciate your help? i have a bit of knowelge in html/css but i am not sure i can add the code in custom.liquid.css file? i need your help please

Hi,

i have tried 1 and 2 they both only applied for single product or collection. i need to create image gallery for each product page so that customers can easily browse through multiple images without having to scroll down the page and when i list a new product the description images automatically added to the image gallery so i don;t have to do manually for each product. i hope you understand what i mean. if you can provide a custom code i would appropriate your help very much. thank you

its very difficult to finds appropriate apps i will need custom coding in html/css with javascript functionality so when the customer click on the image it pops up/zoom like a lightbox. i hope you understand what i mean. thank you

I think you should use a 3rd app to get the best support for multiple images

This can be custom-coded into the theme which will show all product images as a gallery and on clicking it will be zoomed.
