I need an elongated search bar because my store has a huge list of products and I need a pretty visible search bar where a customer can quickly search for the products that may want to buy.
I am using a shopify theme (Debut).
I know that this is possible via code only, Can someone please help me with the code (Which file do I edit, and what code do I need to add).?
I appreciate the screenshots and letting us know what theme you are using as that is super helpful! By default, the Debut theme has a minimized search bar when using either the mobile or desktop version of the theme. However, I can definitely see the benefit of allowing the search bar to be visible at all times as this could improve your customers experience.
With that being said, we can use free design time for Shopify themes to allow our internal themes team to make the change of coding on your behalf. If you are interested, you can navigate to our Contact Us page and login to your store. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before discussing the changes on the Debut theme with a Support Advisor.
