I Need Store Feedback

New apparel brand. Looking for honest feedback on homepage clarity, product pages, and overall trust. Does anything feel confusing, off, or unfinished? This took A LOT of time and I’m anxious if it doesn’t look visually appealing or if the language is confusing.

Here’s the link grawni.com

Any feedback helps, thanks!

Hey @grawni you did a great job but you can do make more attractive store
i think it is your first time to design or develop a store so feel free if you have any question about it

hey @grawni , just took a quick tour around your site and I think there’re few things you can take into consideration

  1. For the trust aspect, in the footer you can add more trust badges or information about payment methods you’re offering such as Visa, Mastercard and also more information about your business.

Reference

  1. The product images and description look good to me
  2. I can add to cart, proceed to check out smoothly. One thing is that I don’t know if you’re selling to US only or worldwide, if you sell globally, currency converter should be considered.

Hope it helps

Hello @grawni I have checked your website it seems like you are still developing your Shopify store there is no navigation also nothing has been added yet, you can let me know once done I will check again and suggest you best possibilities here is the screenshot of your website what I can see as of now.

@mastroke

Just click that mouse  To me, that is a very bad first experience that the user sees.

@Mustafa_Ali
I think you copy paste that sentence in every feedback. Please use commas and dots in sentences, as this can mean different things. And if you want to provide feedback, please do. You do not need to ask user. User already asked a question.

@grawni

Besides that splash screen, your store is basic; large images are solid, but you need more text. I do not see a contact information page with your business details abut at least you have a proper email. I suggest you spend some time going over other topic in the Store feedback sections, and search for “no sales” and “zero sales.” Learn from other merchants and from tips given, which are usually repeated.

Good luck, you have some work to do.

Thanks @Laza_Binaery Indeed just like what I felt any normal customer is going to think like that only… apart from this @grawni your store is basic I agree with @Laza_Binaery I think you should switch to some better theme, not specifically theme but you need to work harder on creating high quality visuals as apparel industry is highly dependent on high quality visuals only I mean product images, website overall presentation, its not looking very appealing in nature,

Header is also not optimised with different collections, footer also missing about us page, contact us page, social signals are weak as well I cant find engaging reels or images on your Instagram profile, you need to work on that as well, many other things are also missing, I think your website is in very early stage and you need serious focus on shopify store development.

However I seriously appreciate your efforts, asking question here in community strongly indicates that you are working on building something really awesome, wishing you all the very best! Do refer to other comeptitor’s websites I am sure you will find many more things which needs improvement.

Hello @grawni

I must agree with others. Your landing page is confusing. If you spent a lot of time on the animation, and you really want to keep it… Auto-start the animation, speed it up, and program an auto-click at the end to bring the user to the main site.

Second thing. Change your header color at the top.

You can see everything is white-washed. Probably just want to make it black - like when you scroll down.

I’ll stop there. I think I overwhelm too many shop owners with my comments. Happy to add more, if/when you like.

Regards.

Search first.

The amount of overpriced dropshipping schemes looking for feedback lately is alarming…

There’s nothing special about your store. You can’t come up with anything original? You’re not the first to discover print on demand..

Hi @grawni,

Hope you are well. This is Anne from Shopplaza . I’m happy to share a few quick comments after reviewing your store.

Overall, the store has a good foundation and the main sections are set up quite well. From the perspective of a first-time visitor, I’d like to share a few suggestions that could help improve the first impression and overall trust :

1. First impression with homepage visuals
From my personal experience, the dark/black visual shown when first entering the store may feel a bit confusing and not very welcoming for new visitors.

You might consider using a lighter or more inviting visual to create a clearer and more positive first impression.

2. Add a size chart on product pages
For clothing products, having a clear size chart is very important. This helps customers understand sizing better and feel more confident when making a purchase.

Ideally, the size guide should be easy to find near the size selection area .

3. Improve the “About Us” section
The About Us section could be more detailed and informative , helping visitors understand the brand story, who is behind the store, and what makes the business trustworthy.

4. Add a review section for social proof
Including a review section can help provide real feedback from customers and act as a reference for new visitors.

Even a small number of reviews can make a big difference in building trust and credibility , especially for a new store.

Such as:

These suggestions are shared simply from the perspective of a first-time visitor and are intended to help enhance both user experience and confidence.

I hope this helps!

Best regards,

Hi @grawni

I’ve reviewed your homepage. The design is clean and premium, but there are a few important areas that need improvement for better clarity, SEO, and conversions:

1.Heading Structure Issue (SEO)

Your homepage currently has multiple H1 tags. Each page should have only one H1, with proper hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3 → H4). This helps search engines understand your content better.

2.Schema Markup Missing

Important schemas like FAQ schema, Product schema, and Collection (product grid) schema are not implemented. Adding these will improve visibility in Google (rich results, star ratings, FAQ dropdowns).

3.No Clear Value Proposition (Hero Section)

The hero section looks good visually, but it doesn’t clearly communicate what your brand stands for or why users should buy.

Add a strong headline and CTA like:
“Premium Essentials. Built for Everyday Wear.” + “Shop Now”

4.Lack of Strong Call-To-Actions (CTA)

Some sections (like sweatsets and categories) don’t have clear or visible buttons.
Add bold and visible CTA buttons like “Shop Now”, “Explore Collection”, etc.

5.Low Trust Signals

There are very limited trust-building elements on the homepage.

Add:

  • Customer reviews or ratings
  • Shipping & returns highlights
  • Product quality benefits

6.No Urgency or Conversion Triggers

The store feels static and doesn’t encourage immediate action.

7.Product Section Optimization

Product grids look clean but slightly empty and lack engagement.

  • Add badges (New, Bestseller)
  • Show reviews under products
  • Add quick view or hover effects

8.Brand Story / Identity Missing

There is no strong “About” or brand story on the homepage.

9.Overall UX & Engagement

The design is minimal (which is good), but slightly too minimal — it feels a bit empty in some areas.

Hi @grawni

The effort shows and the store looks clean, so take a breath because visually you’re not in bad shape. But here’s the honest part you asked for.

Right now Grawni feels like a store, not a brand. And in apparel that gap matters more than anywhere else. You’ve got interesting product names, The Agile, The Bare Minimum, The Ethos, The Lumin, there’s clearly a philosophy or a worldview trying to come through in the naming but nowhere on the homepage does it actually get explained. What does Grawni stand for, who is it for, why does it exist?

Someone landing cold has no way of knowing and without that context you’re just another clothing store with decent looking tees and sweats. That’s the most important thing to fix because everything else builds on top of it.

The pricing sits in a middle ground that needs justification too. $33 for a t-shirt is not outrageous but it’s also not cheap enough to buy without thinking. At that price point people want to feel something about the brand before they pull out their card. Give them that feeling on the homepage before they even get to the product pages.

Your slider cart is already set up which is good but it’s completely underutilised. You have natural sets here, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts that clearly belong together and someone buying one piece should immediately be seeing the matching one right inside the cart. That’s effortless cross-selling that suits a brand with a cohesive aesthetic like yours. Throw a free shipping progress bar in there too because at these price points people are often just one item away from hitting a threshold and they’ll go for it if you show them.

Don’t install separate apps trying to build all of this out though. It costs more than it should and slows your store down. Something like iCart handles the progress bar and in-cart cross-sells all together in one place.

Your store has good potential, but a few key improvements are needed:

  • Add trust elements (contact info, reviews, trust badges)
  • Improve product pages (better descriptions & high-quality images)
  • Make design cleaner and more professional (especially mobile)
  • Avoid unrealistic discounts (can look spammy)
  • Fix policies (shipping, returns, privacy)
  • Build stronger branding (logo, About Us, social presence)

Overall: Focus on trust + branding to improve conversions.

Hey,

Only one recommendation. Just remove the 1st animation from your website.

Most of the people even developers don’t know whether it is a live store of password protected store which is in development.

It works on-click and nobody clicks that soon on banner like this.

Just remove it! It will help you a lot.

  • Please add a call-to-action button on the homepage banner.
  • Recommend add size chart for your items.
  • Please add shipping information
  • Add more information on the contact page, for example, email, phone.
  • Add a review app so you can collect reviews from customer.

Hi, @grawni
I checked out your site - visually it looks clean and on-brand. Nothing feels broken or unfinished; overall it looks polished. The main improvements are around clarity, trust, and mobile performance:

  1. Homepage clarity
The design is strong, but the message isn’t instantly clear. Add a short headline that explains your brand and a clear Shop Now above the fold.

  2. Product page

  • For apparel, showing products on real people (lifestyle shots) can significantly improve engagement and conversions.
  1. Trust signals
  • Add customer reviews
  • A short brand story/About section would help build trust
  • Add Estimated delivery time
  • Add Easy returns line (e.g., “30-day returns”)
  1. Performance (mobile)
    From your PageSpeed report: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-grawni-com/3rg0r1zqfw?form_factor=mobile
Improving load speed (image optimization, reducing unused apps/scripts) will help both SEO and conversions.

Overall, the site looks polished, focusing on clearer messaging, stronger trust signals, and faster mobile speed should improve conversions. Hope this helps!

You can also look into site speed optimization, as it impacts both SEO and conversions -there are apps like Website Speedy that can help, but it’s optional
