I need to add a delivery Fee for one vendor but free for another vendor

Hi, I’m currently using 2 dropshipping vendors (maybe more in the future) to fulfil my orders one of them charges per item whereas the other is free carriage (within certain UK postal regions) do you have any ideas on the easiest way to set this up? Thanks

If you have vendors that charge different prices, you will need to determine your own shipping strategy. Do you want to charge your customers? Or have them pay?

Generally speaking free shipping works the best. This means that you will actually build the price of shipping into your product price. This will cover your cost, and also give the illusion that the customer is receiving shipping for free. This will also prevent you from needing multiple shipping profiles, and combined rates. I have thought about that but the free delivery offered by one of our vendors is free in certain postal code regions (mainland UK) if they are outside those areas there is a surcharge of up to 10kg weight and then an additional cost per kg over that. I hope this makes sense. Thanks

Dave, thank you for responding. However, one of the reasons we can’t simply use an app with our dropshipping vendors is that none of their carriers are leading logistics companies and are not included in any of the apps we’ve checked.
