We work with some brands using dropshipping so we do not have those products in our physical store for our clients to come and pick them up once they make a purchase. So I would need to set up a way to differentiate those products from the rest of our catalogue and when someone buys them, they should only be offered the option of the items being shipped to them and not the option for in-store pick up. I tried setting up a second virtual location but then I cannot seem to figure out how to link the products I want to each location. Or if I am even on the right path to want I want to achieve. I am using the Dawn theme on its latest version.
Thanks
Thanks for the reply but this does not solve my issue. Forget about the dropshipping since that is irrelevant to the goal I am trying to achieve. What I need to do is to somehow have some of the products in my portfolio to not offer the option of in store pick up to the customers and only be available to be purchased with shipping to their home. This would solve my issue as what I am trying to avoid here is to sell one of this products that I don’t have in my store and have the customer show up here to pick it up. These are just 2 brands that I work with that I have this arrangement so it is not for all my products, just for these two brands. thanks
Hey, thanks for your reply again. I am sorry but this would not work either. I need to find a way to have some products offer shipping and pickup, and other products to offer only shipping with no pickup available. There has got to be a way to separate these two options.
Thanks
Yes! that seems more aligned with what I need to achieve. Would you mind sharing more in detail how I should do that? I already created a secondary “virtual” location to use for the products that should be shipping only, however there are a lot of those, so doing them manually one by one would take a long time, and I could not figure out a way to do that in the bulk editor as I did not have the option to select a location for the products in the columns, I only see that option when I go into the product details. Thanks
Pick up in Store would only work on products that are Stocked in your Physical Location. If the product is stocked on a location that allows pick up in store, it will be available for pickup.
