I need to ship to a customer in Kentucky in the USA and shopify wants me to put in an HS code.

Same thing…have been getting an error with all domestic shipments…“HS codes and country of origin are required to ship products internationally. To buy shipping labels, add them to Edit customs information”
Our store is also having the same issue with the HS code error message on our domestic shipment orders. Hopefully Shopify will recognize and resolve it soon.
I am having the same issue and my customer is in the same state as I am. This is frustrating. I made sure my international markets were inactive but still no changes.

Having the same exact issue here, also trying to ship a product to Kentucky. Never had this issue before

Getting the same thing myself for my domestic shipments and their AI support is no help.
I just refreshed my page and it’s working correctly again
Just got off of a support chat and this is what they said:
“So it appears that there is a current incident affecting label purchases. Our developers are aware of this and are working diligently to get a fix. Right now, the only workaround is to purchase the labels externally if it is crucial the orders are shipped today. I know this is likely not what you were looking to hear, so I appreciate your understanding and patience. Please be assured that a fix will be put in place as soon as possible”
And my response…
“Based on that response I take it that it is a large issue and possibly won’t be fixed today? Also, why do you all not update your status page with this info?”
Current status page shows everything is functioning, but it is not. smh
Update: problem seems to be resolved, we were able to print labels in the end.
