I am looking for a platform that can create instant quote from an uploaded .ai .svg . stp or .dxf. Even if its an uploaded jpg and it give them an instant quote based on the surface area used.

Example:

24" x 24" would be 100$ + the number of times the machine pierces the material to make the cut. Then choose the material thickness and type, like aluminum or steel +/- $$. Then chose the color +/- $$ The customer then could decide if they wanted to move forward and make a purchase or we could request a call with any questions etc.

I’ve yet to come across an app that supports this sort of specific function. With that said, I’m confident one of our Shopify experts would be able to accomplish this at a reasonable price.

Just wanted to share this as an option in case you are unable to find a solution in your thread.

here comes the dream scenario:
Our customers can go to our website, click on a button like Get.A.Quote (hyperlinked to your cloud service, or embedded in our site) , then they upload their drawing (DXF and some more formats) , then they can select Material (AL 2mm or wood 8mm etc) , Cut (waterjet or laser or CNC etc) , Bending ( counting number of bend lines in the estimation) , Coating (Powder coating, …) , Engraving text , …. and get a price estimation. Then we receive an email about the inquiry and continue the dialogue. (could be more integration from here but we do NOT need that)
It is also an interesting feature if they have a simplified CAD interface looking like this: sendcutsend.com

I am currently developing this and are planning to offer shops to be able to pay a monthly fee or yearly to use my software. i have developed this for my shop/website. Currently doing improvements and further developments to be able to let other people use my software to boos shop sales :smiley:
