I really need to TALK to someone at shopify support.

I’ve posted about this numerous times before and I never seem to get an actual answer. I need to speak to a living human being at Shopify. But there is no link anywhere I can find for a phone number or a way to contact someone.

Someone sent me this link previously: https://help.shopify.com/en/questions#/contact/

…which at first glance seems to work but then it asks me to log into my store and what do you know… it takes me to the never ending loop that is the shopify community. I just cannot wrap my brain around how a major online ecommerce platform offers no actual customer service help other than pre-written answers or a forum…

Please HELP.

We do still offer 24/7 live chat and phone support (now in the form of callbacks) which are available via our Help Center. I’d love to help you find those so you can get the help you’re looking for. Can you please:

  1. Visit our contact page here.
  2. Log in to your store.
  3. Enter a topic into the search field.
  4. Select Get support, located at the bottom of the page.
  5. Choose from our currently available contact options.

I’m replying on this topic in the hope you still are employed at Shopify and know the answer to my question:

I believe there’s something wrong with the REST API; it seems bugged. I would really love to enter a tech support ticket somewhere, but the best I got is chat > discord forums etc.

Is it in any way possible to get a hold of a developer at Shopify who I can tell what’s buggy?

I need to speak with someone as well but can’t get anyone to actually talk to. I am going to close my account if this doesn’t get resolved! This is RIDICULOUS

Why is it impossible to actually speak to someone? I don’t want to “chat”? This is absolutely unacceptable. I have been paying you for years yet I can’t get anyone on the phone? HOW DO I CLOSE MY ACCOUNT!

As we don’t currently offer phone support, you can head over to our Help Center to begin a live chat. While I understand how that may not be ideal, I can assure you that our support team is available 24/7 to assist with anything you may need. To gather a bit more information however, are you experiencing an error when attempting to close down your shop? We have a great guide available here, that touches on the steps need to successfully shut down your shop if you no longer wish to sell online.

I went to the help center only to sit there and read the same thing over & over with nothing getting accomplished. Why is it so hard to talk to an actual person

To connect with us, you will want to follow the steps outlined below:

  • Head over to the Help Center
  • Into the chat box, type ‘I can’t log in’
  • After waiting a few moments, you will see the ‘Account Support’ option
  • Select ‘Account Support’ to begin a live chat

These stupid people close my account said I most wait 120 days for my payout been 135 going now and I still don’t receive my payout. Trying to get someone to talk to and it been a nightmare the customer service is like a animal farm that hasn’t been clean for years

Did you ever get your money? I’m at 3 months without the payout and I can’t get any resolution. This is evil evil business practice.
