Hi! I submitted all the relevant document to prove my identification so I can receive my payouts. However I am still on hold even though 2 separate Shopify customer service asssistants told me misleading information. One said I would be verified in up to 24hrs and another said up to 48hrs. I then spoke to a couple of other assistants and they told me they have spoken to the verification team and will verify asap. I understand why they need to complete this verification but surely it shouldn’t take over a week when PayPal verified my ID within the same 24hours. Actually they verified me within 2 hours! So a lot better service from them (PayPal). it’s funny how shopify still get their monthly payment from me and all their fees from my customers orders. But can’t allow me to get my payouts. This is the one negative thing about shopify that I have come across so far!

With regards to your inquiry, we appreciate your feedback regarding this matter. Please know however, that holds and reviews with regards to payouts are fairly common and happen constantly. We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this process.
You are more than welcome to enable third party gateways in the meantime to provide your customers other ways to complete their purchase. Shopify Payments are on hold but your store is still active and customers can still complete their purchases. Please visit this link for all possible gateways you can use depending on the country where you are located.
