I am going on vacation soon - Yesterday I wanted to see what my vacation setting options were in shopify so I visited the pause and deactivation link which promptly enrolled me in the $9 subscription without any confirmation -
In panic I clicked the back button but it still remained in the $9 pause situation - to get back to my original shop subscription I had to re-enrol in the basic shop which cost me $172.62 simply to just to look at my vacation setting options - this is very very wrong
I then contacted support to ask that my shop subscription be put back to where it was before I clicked the deactivation link but they refused to help - the advisor wrote that shopify never gives refunds - appalling service
I will simply password my shop to ensure it cannot take orders whilst Iām away
advice?
